Puri, March 27 -- Celebrated sand artist, Padma Shri awardee and Earth Hour Legacy Ambassador for WWF-India Sudarsan Pattnaik unveiled a magnificent sand sculpture at Puri Beach on Friday to commemorate the 20-year journey of Earth Hour, the global environmental initiative led by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).
The intricate sculpture beautifully captures the evolution of Earth Hour-from its inception in Sydney in 2007 to its current status as a worldwide movement inspiring over 190 countries.
The artwork features symbolic depictions of the Earth, global landmarks and people uniting for climate action.
