The success of Skyroot Aerospace's Vikram-1 orbital class rocket "Misson Aagaman" (Arrival) with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's handwritten Vande Mataram message, marked a significant milestone for India's private space sector and reflected the growing capability of the country's space ecosystem, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) said on Saturday.
It said this achievement was a testament to the space sector reforms envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Among the payloads on Vikram-1 Test Flight-1 is something truly special-a handwritten postcard from the Prime Minister with the words 'Vande Mataram'.
