Beed, April 11 -- In a decisive move to establish the actual number of students enrolled in schools, the Education Department has launched a special verification drive across Beed district.

According to sources in the Education Departmnet, the initiative aims to ensure accuracy in student enrolment data across primary, secondary and higher secondary institutions.

As part of this campaign, physical verification will be conducted in more than 2,500 schools across the district on April 14, April 15, and April 22.

However, Zilla Parishad schools with enrolment below 60 students have been excluded from this process.

Meanwhile, private aided and partially aided schools have been mandated to undergo 100 per cent verification.
