Bidar, June 10 -- A teenaged SSLC student allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the fourth floor of his school building here on Wednesday, with his family accusing the headmaster of harassment and forcing him to perform cleaning work on the campus.
The deceased has been identified as Sameer, a resident of Shantinagar in Bidar. According to police, the incident occurred at a private school near Pratap Nagar, where the boy had been studying since Class I.
Family members alleged that the headmaster frequently pressured Sameer to secure high marks and made him collect garbage and perform other cleaning duties at the school. They claimed the alleged harassment drove the student to take the extreme step.
