Bhubaneswar, Aug. 8 -- The Odisha Student Congress on Saturday launched a two-day round-the-clock sit-in protest here, demanding the resignation of the Ministers of Mass Education and Higher Education over alleged failures in the education sector.
Student Congress President Bibhuti Bhushan Mahapatra said students across Odisha were facing several problems, but the state government had remained indifferent to their concerns.
The organisation demanded the resignation of Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond, holding him responsible for errors in school textbooks.
