Kolkata, June 6 -- India is better positioned than ever before to navigate an increasingly volatile global order, but the nation must continue strengthening its military, technology and economic resilience to achieve the goal of becoming a developed country by 2047, West Bengal Governor RN Ravi said on Saturday.
Addressing a session on "Prevailing Global Situation and Impacts on India", organised by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the Centre for Eastern and North Eastern Regional Studies, Kolkata (CENERS-K), Ravi outlined what he described as the five pillars of Vikshit Bharat 2047 - economic strength, knowledge and technology, military capability, demographic advantage and civilisational unity.
