Bengaluru, March 26 -- Bengaluru Police on Thursday asked people not to come to the first IPL match of the season at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium without valid tickets, warning that strict checks will be in place and crowding outside the venue will not be allowed.
Addressing reporters after a high-level review and mock drill, senior police official Seemant Kumar Singh said elaborate and multi-layered arrangements have been put in place to ensure smooth conduct of the match, with a strong focus on crowd control, traffic regulation and emergency response.
