Thiruvananthapuram, April 21 -- The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Kerala, has issued stringent instructions to District Election Officers (DEOs) and Returning Officers (ROs) to ensure strict adherence to counting protocols, reinforcing measures to protect the integrity of the electoral process.

According to the directive, officials have been explicitly warned that under no circumstances should strong rooms or any unsealed rooms be opened or accessed for purposes such as preparing index cards or verifying data in the ENCORE portal.
