Bengaluru, June 6 -- Karnataka Home Minister Priyank Kharge on Saturday issued a stern warning against the spread of hate and provocative content on social media, saying no one would be spared if found violating the law and strict action would be taken irrespective of status or influence.

"The law is equal for all. Anyone attempting to create hatred, unrest or tension through social media will face legal consequences," Kharge told reporters after a high-level review meeting with senior police officers at the Bengaluru Police Headquarters.
