Lucknow, March 2 -- A tragic incident was reported from Lucknow, where an eight-year-old girl was allegedly killed by a pack of stray dogs today evening.
The incident took place in Tarona village under the jurisdiction of Rahimabad Police Station.
According to reports, the deceased child, identified as Anshika, had gone to a field about 500 metres away from her home in Tarona village to relieve herself. During this time, a pack of stray dogs reportedly attacked her. The dogs mauled the child severely, leading to her death on the spot. By the time villagers rushed to the scene, she had already succumbed to her injuries.
