Strasbourg (France), May 19 -- Filipina tennis star Alex Eala's final clay tournament before the French Open came to an end in the first round after a nearly three-hour battle with 66th-ranked Oleksandra Oliynykova finished in a 6-3, 5-7, 3-6 defeat.
Both in their Strasbourg Open debuts, the 25-year-old Ukrainian hustled back from a set down with an expansive variety of shots in her arsenal to see her over the line in one of the biggest wins of her career.
