Muscat, Aug. 24 -- Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi will visit Tehran on Tuesday for talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on bilateral and regional issues, including the management of the strategically important Strait of Hormuz, Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said on Monday.
The two countries, whose coastlines border the strait, have been negotiating for weeks over arrangements to manage the strategic shipping route and finalise a maritime transit framework governing commercial vessel traffic through the waterway.
