Patna, May 4 -- Severe thunderstorm and lightning strikes swept across parts of Bihar late Monday evening, leaving at least 12 people, including children, dead and several others injured.
According to reports pouring in here from various districts, five people were killed in East Champaran district, four in Aurangabad and three in Gayaji district.
In East Champaran district, five people, including four children, died in rain- and storm-related incidents, while two women were seriously injured.
