New Delhi, July 24 -- The Indian Stock Markets settled lower on Friday extending the losing streak for the fifth consecutive.
At close, Sensex declined 331.62 points, or 0.43 percent to settle at 76,059.77 while Nifty dipped 102.15 points, or 0.43 percent to end at 23,767.45.
For the entire week, the Sensex lost nearly 2,100 points, or 2.7pc, while the Nifty shed 2.3pc.
Among the sectors, Nifty Auto lost 1.10pc, while Metal, Realty, and Oil and Gas declined by 0.50pc. Nifty Media jumped almost 2pc. IT was up 0.82pc and PSU Bank up by 0.58pc while Nifty Bank rose 0.18pc.
