Bengaluru, May 13 -- A state-of-the-art Video Surveillance System (VSS) equipped with advanced analytics and facial recognition capabilities has been commissioned at KSR Bengaluru City Railway Station to strengthen passenger safety and railway security infrastructure.

According to a release issued by the South Western Railway on Wednesday, the modern surveillance system became operational on May 13 and provides comprehensive monitoring coverage across the station premises, including entrances and exits, circulating areas, booking offices, reservation halls, concourses, platforms, subways, foot overbridges, waiting halls, and other sensitive locations.
