Chennai, April 9 -- Terming the proposed Dilimitation would skew reppresentation and tilt the balance in favour of BJP-dominated Northern states, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M K Stalin on Thursday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and termed the exercise as not a reform by reengineering power, which was undemocratic and unitary overeaching that undermine India's federal and plural character.

In a lengthy post on X, Mr Stalin said it was an attempt by the NDA government at the Centre headed by Mr Modi to favour Northern states while silencing the voice of South India.
