Parwinder SandhuKevadiya, Sept. 21 -- The stage is set for the 72nd National Film Awards, which will be held at Ekta Nagar, Kevadia, Gujarat, on Tuesday, with President Droupadi Murmu presenting the prestigious honours for outstanding cinematic achievements of 2024.
The ceremony marks a shift from the national capital to Gujarat and will bring together filmmakers, actors and other members of the Indian film industry to celebrate achievements across feature films, non-feature films and writing on cinema.
A major highlight of the ceremony will be the presentation of the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for 2024 to veteran actor Anant Nag for his outstanding contribution to Indian cinema.
