Hyderabad, July 14 -- Calling for greater awareness, research and government support for children suffering from Subacute Sclerosing Panencephalitis (SSPE), a rare and fatal neurological complication of measles, a parents' support group on Tuesday urged authorities to recognise the disease as a rare disorder and provide financial and medical assistance to affected families.
