Supaul, May 31 -- The 45th Battalion of the Sashastra Seema Bal organised an anti-tobacco pledge programme at its Birpur headquarters and all border outposts on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day on Sunday to spread awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco consumption and promote a healthy, addiction-free society.
The programme was conducted under the guidance and leadership of Acting Commandant Jagdish Kumar Sharma. Officers, subordinate officers, jawans and women personnel participated in the event and pledged to stay away from tobacco and other intoxicants while adopting a healthy lifestyle.
