Chennai, May 6 -- As part of further enhancing passenger amenities and decongesting and improving station infrastructure, Southern Railway has commissioned 20 new parking facilities in Chennai Division during the 2025-26 fiscal.
With this addition, the total number of authorized parking locations across the Division has increased from the present 106 to 126.
These parking facilities have been developed to provide organized, secure, and easily accessible parking spaces, thereby improving passenger convenience and decongesting station premises.
