Ballari, Aug. 9 -- Senior BJP leader B Sriramulu on Sunday launched a blistering attack on the Karnataka government over the re-induction of B Nagendra into the State Cabinet, demanding his immediate resignation and questioning Chief Minister DK Shivakumar's decision to appoint him as minister.
Sriramulu alleged that Nagendra was facing an Rs 187 crore money-laundering case in connection with the alleged irregularities in the Maharshi Valmiki Scheduled Tribes Development Corporation and questioned how the Congress leadership could bring him back into the Cabinet despite the allegations.
"Chief Minister, was it necessary to make such a person a minister?" Sriramulu asked, directly targeting Shivakumar over Nagendra's re-induction.
