Srinagar, Aug. 21 -- What was once destined for the waste heap has found a new lease of life in Srinagar, where discarded materials have been transformed into colourful floral installations.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday inaugurated the city's first Waste to Wonder-Flower Garden at Floriculture Park, Polo View, showcasing how creativity, reuse and recycling can turn waste into spaces of beauty and public interest.
The Chief Minister took a tour of the thematic garden, which features a range of attractive installations created from discarded and scrapped materials.
