Srinagar, June 4 -- : Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday intensified its crackdown against drug trafficking and narcotics-related crimes across the Valley under the ongoing "Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyaan", demolishing properties linked to alleged drug peddlers, arresting multiple accused, attaching assets worth lakhs and destroying illegal poppy cultivation in several districts.

In Srinagar, police in coordination with the Revenue Department demolished an illegally constructed three-storeyed residential structure worth around Rs 2 crore belonging to an alleged notorious drug peddler, Sheikh Tasaduq of Rainawari.
