Visakhapatnam, April 13 -- A new weekly Humsafar Express connecting Srikakulam Road and Tirupati was flagged off on Monday, marking a significant step towards improving rail connectivity and passenger convenience in the region.
Union Minister for Civil Aviation K. Ram Mohan Naidu, along with public representatives and railway officials, attended the inaugural ceremony at Srikakulam Road Railway Station.
The introduction of Train No. 17440/17439 Srikakulam Road-Tirupati Weekly Humsafar Express is expected to benefit passengers by enhancing connectivity to key destinations including Vijayawada and other intermediate stations.
