Hyderabad, March 27 -- union Minister for Coal and Mines G Kishan Reddy on Friday said Sri Rama Navami was being celebrated with great devotion and grandeur across the country, while dismissing reports of fuel shortages as baseless.
Addressing the media in Timmapur on the occasion of the festival, the Minister said celebrations-from Ayodhya in the north to Bhadrachalam in Telangana-were being held on a magnificent scale.
He noted that in his native village, Timmapur, the Sita Rama Kalyanam has been organised every year for the past 25 years, and this year's festivities too were conducted with great pomp.
