Colombo, Aug. 25 -- Sri Lanka were 216 for seven at tea on the third day of the second Test against India at the Sinhalese Sports Club here on Tuesday, with India firmly in control after claiming three wickets in the second session.
Sonal Dinusha was unbeaten on 52 off 82 balls, including three fours and two sixes, while Keshara Nuwantha was not out on 13. The pair had added 50 runs for the eighth wicket as Sri Lanka showed some resistance after slipping to 166 for seven.
Sri Lanka crossed 200 in 56.1 overs before reaching 216 for seven at the tea interval.
