Beijing/New Delhi, Aug. 25 -- India and China held the 25th round of Special Representative talks on the boundary question in Beijing today, with the Indian SR, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, emphasising the importance of maintaining peace and tranquility in the border areas for the continued progress of the bilateral relationship.
During the talks, held between the Special Representatives, NSA Doval, and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, the two sides also noted the progress made in implementing the important consensus reached between their leaders - PM Modi and President Xi on disengagement -- in Kazan in October 2024, and in Tianjin in August 2025, on the sidelines of the SCO Summit.
