New Delhi, Aug. 14 -- Springdales School, Dhaula Kuan, organised a special assembly on Friday to commemorate India's 80th Independence Day, highlighting the values of freedom, equality, peace and national unity.
The programme was held at the Rajni Kumar Hall of Friendship and Peace on the school premises, with Dipak Haksar, former CEO of ITC Hotels and Member, Managing Board, Springdales School, Dhaula Kuan, as the chief guest.
Addressing the students, Haksar said true success was not measured by material possessions or the pursuit of ambition, but by enduring values such as integrity, honesty and character. He encouraged the students to remain curious and courageous and to be mindful of their words.
