Tirupati, March 3 -- TTD Joint Executive Officer (Health & Education) Dr. A. Sharath said that special attention is being given to the care and protection of cows at the TTD Gosala in Palamaneru.
On Tuesday, he visited the Gosala along with officials and reviewed the facilities.
He instructed the officials to ensure that all cows are provided with timely fodder, drinking water, and necessary medical care.
The Gosala is spread over about 450 acres, and currently 542 cows are being cared for there.
He suggested that instead of sending the cows for grazing twice a day (morning and afternoon), they should be sent once in the morning and brought back to the sheds in the evening.
