Mumbai, Aug. 6 -- Spending for education is an investment, not an expense, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said on Thursday while strongly advocating increased public investment in the education sector.
Speaking at the15th anniversary celebration of the India International Model United Nations (IIMUN) in Mumbai, he expressed confidence that India would soon achieve the long-pending goal of allocating six per cent of its Gross Domestic Product (GDP) to education. Such an investment would play a crucial role in shaping the nation's future, he said.
