Mumbai, Aug. 1 -- A special NIA court here on Saturday framed charges against 10 accused, including former Mumbai police officer Sachin Vaze and encounter specialist Pradeep Sharma, in the 2021 Antilia explosives case and businessman Mansukh Hiren murder probe.

All 10 pleaded not guilty and denied the charges before Judge Chakor Bawiskar. The court has now directed that the trial proceed.

Despite the accused pleading not guilty, they will face trial under the Indian Penal Code, including sections related to murder, and under the stringent Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, or UAPA.
