Patna, Feb. 26 -- Bihar Assembly Speaker Prem Kumar Thursday directed the state government to construct and develop zoos in proportion to the state's population after studying models adopted by other states.
The direction came during the reply being made by the government to call attention of BJP MLA Nitish Mishra regarding the low number of zoos in Bihar. After the reply of the Forest and Environment Minister Pramod Kumar, the Speaker instructed the government to conduct a comparative study of other states and take steps to expand zoo infrastructure accordingly.
