Madrid, April 15 -- Three Spanish sides are in European action on Thursday, with Real Betis and Celta Vigo looking to reach the semifinals of the Europa League, while Rayo Vallecano looks to move into the last four of the Conference League.
Rayo is well placed to progress to a European semifinal for the first time in its history after a stunning 3-0 win at home to AEK Athens last week, but coach Inigo Perez will be wary offatigue among his players, who succumbed to a 3-0 defeat in Mallorca on Sunday.
Perez rested a host of regular starters in Mallorca, and players such as Jorge de Frutos, PatheCiss, Isi Palazon and Alemao should all be fresh for Thursday's clash.
