Shimla, July 1 -- The Southwest Monsoon covered the entire Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday, six days later than its normal onset date of June 25, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasting heavy to very heavy rainfall across several parts of the state over the next four to five days.
According to the Meteorological Centre, Shimla, the monsoon advanced into the remaining parts of Shimla, Sirmaur, Mandi, Kullu, Lahaul and Spiti, Kangra, Solan, Una, Bilaspur, Hamirpur and Chamba districts, bringing the entire state under its influence.
