Hyderabad, Sept. 17 -- A conference of Agriculture Ministers and senior officials of southern States on agriculture and allied sectors will be held at Trident Hotel here on Friday under the aegis of the union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare.
Union Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will participate in the conference along with ministers and officials from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
The conference will review the Digital Agriculture Mission, Farmers' Registry, fertiliser management and various horticulture sectors. Discussions will also focus on self-reliance in pulses, natural farming, oil palm, curbing spurious pesticides and fertilisers, and preventi...
