Hyderabad, May 24 -- In a major boost to long-distance rail connectivity, the Ministry of Railways has approved the introduction of three new weekly express trains from Telangana, regularising the existing special train services operated by the South Central Railway (SCR).

The new services will connect Hyderabad and other parts of Telangana with Jaipur, Agartala and Sri Ganganagar.

According to a release issued by SCR Chief Public Relations Officer A Sridhar on Sunday, Train No. 17079/17080 Hyderabad-Jaipur Weekly Express will commence services from July 24 and July 26, 2026, respectively. The train will operate between Hyderabad and Jaipur via Secunderabad, Nizamabad, Nanded, Bhopal, Ujjain, Ajmer and other important stations.
