New Delhi, June 25 -- India's opening T20I against Ireland in Belfast on Friday will usher in a new era under newly-appointed captain Shreyas Iyer, with teenage batting sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi also in line for a historic India debut.

The 15-year-old has emerged as one of the most talked-about young cricketers in the country after his exploits in IPL 2026 and for India A, but whether India can find a place for him in a settled batting line-up remains the key question ahead of the series opener.
