New Delhi, Sept. 1 -- Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Mohammed Shami played key roles as East Zone secured their place in the Duleep Trophy final with a nervy four-wicket win over Central Zone in Bengaluru on Tuesday.
Sooryavanshi set the tone with an attacking 40 at the top of the order during the chase after Shami finished with three wickets to help East Zone bowl Central Zone out for 158 in their second innings. Mukesh Kumar also impressed with a four-wicket haul as East were set a target of 159 for victory.
