Toronto, April 9 -- The National Cricket League (NCL) has announced that actor-philanthropist Sonu Sood and singer-performer Mika Singh have joined its NCL GT20 competition as team co-owners, marking a significant move in the league's efforts to expand across North America.

According to the league, the entry of the two well-known personalities will enhance global attention and help connect traditional cricket-following regions with new audiences in the United States and Canada. Organisers believe the association will also support their ambition of building a global cricket platform.
