New Delhi, March 17 -- union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal on Tuesday interacted with the crew members of Indian-flagged LPG carriers Shivalik and Nanda Devi, lauding their courage and dedication in ensuring the safe delivery of critical fuel supplies after operating for nearly two weeks in a high-risk maritime zone.
Addressing the seafarers, via video conference, which included; Capt. Sukhmeet Singh and crew of Shivalik; and Capt. Dhiraj Kumar Agrawal along with the crew of Nanda Devi, the minister said the interaction was a "heartfelt expression of the nation's gratitude" to the crew, who ensured the safe delivery of vital LPG supplies despite operating in a high-risk maritime environment.
