New Delhi, July 18 -- Activist Sonam Wangchuk, who was taken to Safdarjung Hospital and Vardhman Mahavir Medical College (VMMC) by Delhi Police earlier this morning, remains conscious and haemodynamically stable, according to a health bulletin issued by the hospital on Saturday evening.

The bulletin said Wangchuk's pulse, blood pressure and oxygen saturation are currently within normal limits.

However, doctors noted that he is exhibiting clinical signs of dehydration due to his prolonged fast, adding that his condition requires immediate medical intervention to prevent further deterioration and potentially serious complications.
