Mumbai, Sept. 22 -- Sonali Kulkarni will play the lead in filmmaker Neeru Sharma's upcoming short film "Like Maa", whose first poster has been unveiled.
The 23-minute short film is set in an upper-middle-class family and sensitively explores the complexities of motherhood and intergenerational relationships. Kulkarni plays homemaker Anjana, whose relationship with her teenage daughter forms the emotional core of the story.
Written, produced and directed by Sharma, "Like Maa" explores the impact of family experiences, expectations and societal perceptions on relationships.
