New Delhi, May 13 -- Delhi-based artist Jyoti Tyagi's solo exhibition "Stories the Soil Remembers" opened at Shridharani Gallery, presenting a powerful exploration of urban expansion, ecological fragility and the memories buried beneath modern cities.

At the heart of the exhibition lies a recurring engagement with nature and its uneasy coexistence with rapidly growing urban spaces. Through evocative imagery of peacocks, trees, birds and stark landscapes, Tyagi reflects on displacement, resilience and the silent erosion of ecological balance. Rather than depicting conventional landscapes, her works create layered visual spaces where fragments of memory, nature and urban life intersect.
