New Delhi, Aug. 21 -- The Assam Rifles, in collaboration with the United Service Institution of India (USI), organised the annual Maj Bob Khathing Memorial Lecture 2026 at USI, New Delhi, today, focusing on the weaponisation of social media and its implications for security forces in the North East.
The lecture, held to commemorate the legacy of Major Bob Khathing, the distinguished military leader and statesman whose life and service were closely associated with the North East and national integration, brought together senior military officers, veterans, strategic affairs experts, academicians, media professionals and scholars.
