Chandigarh, Oct. 26 -- Haryana Assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan on Saturday warned that the rapid spread of information through social media and artificial intelligence (AI) could expose young people to misleading and false content, calling for greater awareness, critical thinking and responsible use of emerging technologies.
Addressing a two-day international seminar at Panjab University, Kalyan said technological advancement had transformed the way information was created and consumed, making it increasingly important for young people to distinguish credible information from misinformation.
He cautioned that the growing influence of AI and social media could mislead young minds if information was accepted without proper scrutiny.
