Mumbai, March 24 -- NCP-SP MLA Rohit Pawar raised a major objection regarding the slow pace of probe into the aircrash that claimed the life of Ajit Pawar in January 28, 2026.

He pointed out that despite a significant amount of time passing, an FIR (First Information Report) has still not been registered in this case.

He questioned why an FIR is being avoided when it is mandatory for a criminal investigation under BNS 173 and 74.

Rohit Pawar said that despite attempts in both Mumbai and Baramati, the police refused to register the FIR.
