Varanasi, June 20 -- On the auspicious occasion of Shri Kumar Shashthi (Skanda Shashthi), a special worship ceremony was held at the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple on Saturday. The ritual was conducted following Vedic traditions and scriptural rites, with the idol of Lord Kartikeya being worshipped.
On this occasion, the temple's learned acharyas and revered scholars performed mantra chanting, worship, offerings, and special rituals dedicated to Lord Kartikeya with deep devotion and reverence.
During the ceremony, flowers, fruits, and other offerings were placed at the feet of Lord Kartikeya, with prayers offered for the welfare of all, as well as for happiness, prosperity, and the progress of the nation.
