New Delhi, April 15 -- The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday filed charges against a Muzaffarpur resident in a 2024 Bihar case related to the smuggling of illegal weapons.
The supplementary chargesheet filed before the NIA Special Court, Patna, has named Kundan Kumar alias Kundan Bhagat under various sections of the IPC, Arms Act, and UA (P) Act. He is the 6th accused to be chargesheeted in the case that originated with the seizure of an AK-47 rifle, along with a lens, by the Bihar Police.
Kundan Kumar, who was arrested by NIA in November 2025, was actively engaged in illegal procurement and smuggling of prohibited bore weapons from Nagaland, investigations had revealed. The weapons were being supplied to Naxalites and othe...
