Imphal, March 29 -- Security forces conducted a series of operations across Manipur on Saturday resulting in the arrest of six individuals and the recovery of arms, explosives, and narcotics, police said on Sunday.
An alleged illegal arms dealer was arrested in Imphal East district.
Another individual was arrested in the Jiribam district.
In another incident an alleged extortionist was apprehended from the Hapta Kangjeibung area under the Porompat Police Station in the Imphal East district.
In another operation, one active cadre was arrested from his residence under Sagolmang Police Station in Imphal East district.
