Bokaro, May 31 -- Police have arrested six persons in connection with the murder of a pregnant woman at Bermo in Bokaro district, while the alleged main accused remains absconding.
Police said on Sunday that Bablu Kumar alias Bablu Bhuiyan, Surendra Bhuiyan, Virendra Kumar Bharti, Rahul Digar, Dhiren Bhuiyan alias Dhiren Kumar Bharti and Rajesh Kumar have been arrested and sent to judicial custody.
The main accused, identified as Santosh Sao, is still at large. Failure of police to arrest him has triggered public anger and tension in the area.
